About

The North Aberdeenshire Local Action Group (NALAG) is responsible for the management and delivery of the rural/LEADER elements of the North Aberdeenshire Local Development Strategy.

Approximately £3.3m has been allocated to the NALAG from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and Scottish Government. These funds have been allocated to support a bottom-up, community-led approach to delivering the North Aberdeenshire Local Development Strategy.

The North Aberdeenshire Local Action Group is a partnership of community, private and public sector organisations, supported by a dedicated Secretariat.

Our vision is to help create a long-term legacy of vibrant, healthy, and inclusive rural and fisheries communities enabled to contribute fully to the social and economic fabric of North Aberdeenshire.

If you have any comments, queries or concerns about the North Aberdeenshire LEADER Programme, or would like some more information, please contact the Co-ordinator.  Please do not attempt to contact Local Action Group members directly.
